United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned the Indian variant of COVID-19 could pose a serious disruption to the country’s easing of lockdown restrictions.
Cases of the variant have reportedly more than doubled from 500 to over 1300 in the past week.
Mr Johnson says he will not make any decisions until further information is made available.
