South African rugby player Faf de Klerk and his wife Miné van Niekerk are on honeymoon at Kandima in the Maldives.

Faf de Klerk and Miné van Niekerk officially tied the knot at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek on Saturday 1 October. The pair met through mutual friends back in 2015 and Miné reportedly invited him to a wedding thereafter. Their love grew over the years and they have been together for six years. The rugby played proposed to Miné in May this year.
Over the past weekend, the pair officially tied the knot. According to The Citizen, Miné’s wedding gown was designed by Cape Town fashion designer Lenalisa. Faf on the other hand, rocked a three-piece suit from The Tux Tailor. Miné’s shared a selfie of the pair showing off their rings
The Springbok player’s team mates Steven Kitshoff, Vincent Koch and Miné’s brothers were the rugby player’s groomsmen. While other players including Willie Le Roux, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Lukhanyo Am, Jesse Kriel, Frans Malherbe, Damian de Allende attended the couple’s wedding.
