Swazi-South African actress Amanda Du-Pont took to Instagram to express what a pleasure meeting the Harveys was, sharing pictures with both Steve Harvey and his wife, sweetly kissing her on the cheek.

“@iamsteveharveytv The Harvey’s Private Dinner. Such a pleasure meeting you, thank you for sharing your inspirational journey with us and reminding us that the true magic lies right here in Africa,” wrote Amanda du-Pont.

“@marjorie_harvey my mandate was to welcome you🤍and make sure you feel the love! I didn’t expect you to do the very same for me! You are such a gem and inspirational woman. Miss South Africa 2016 Ntandoyenkosi Kunene also shared pictures with both Steve Harvey and his wife as she gifted Marjoie her children’s book titled Cory In The Universe, a book based on the lived experiences of six characters during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It was an honor and privilege to Welcome the Harvey’s to our beautiful country. What an inspirational couple!!! May God bless the work of your hands 💚🙏🏾,” wrote Kunene.

“There’s nothing as beautiful as meeting someone and they are just as beautiful and graceful as they are in pictures. @marjorie_harvey thank you for being so kind. May God bless you abundantly. I truly hope that your grandchildren will enjoy this little gift 💚🙏🏾,” wrote Kunene.

The Muses performed at Harvey’s welcome dinner.

Digital Creator Addy also shared snaps from the dinner.

Social media star Lasizwe Dambuza met the Harveys in Johannesburg not too long after they touched down in South Africa. He called himself the “problematic” son of the Hollywood couple and said that Steve Harvey’s reaction to him was the same as his own father’s reaction when he noticed he was queer. Swipe left to see the reaction below.

“I got a call from my parents they wanted to see their problematic son. 😁 @iamsteveharveytv @marjorie_harvey #TheHarveys. Steve Harvey reminds me of my father… He would give the same look when I started going a bit gay🏳️‍🌈🌈,” wrote Lasizwe.
