Intellasia East Asia News – BNI updates digital service ecosystem information on Harpelnas

State-owned lender Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, or BNI, updated information on the digital service ecosystem on the occasion of National Customer Day (Harpelnas) on September 4.

BNI highlighted that digital services for their customers were capable of serving all transactional requirements, ranging from opening accounts, transacting digitally, and sending virtual gifts, to managing business.

“BNI has always been keen to continue to offer quality services and has always come up with convenient features and various value-added financial solutions. This is because for BNI, every day is Customer Day. For customers, BNI will do its best,” deputy President director of BNI Adi Sulistyowati noted in an official statement, Saturday.

Sulistyowati remarked that in the midst of a dynamic era of technological disruption, BNI will continue to work and innovate to become a pioneer in offering digital-based banking services.

The COVID-19 pandemic has expedited BNI’s digital transformation in shifting the activities of customers seeking cashless and mobile transactions to protect them from virus attacks during banking activities.

“Thus, strengthening BNI’s digital services is part of the solution to the banking challenges arising during this pandemic,” she affirmed.

Furthermore, Sulistyowati highlighted several beneficial features in the New BNI Mobile Banking, including Biometric Login that entails the use of fingerprint and facial recognition for logging into the New BNI Mobile Banking, thereby making the process easier and faster as well as the Mobile Tunai feature that allows customers to make cardless cash withdrawals at ATMs.

The other features are the International Remittance and Digi Loan that simplifies the customer’s loan application and the BNI QRIS feature for cardless payments.

Moreover, the BNI offers the BNIDirect feature as an integrated solution for payment management services, collection management, liquidity management, and value chain management.

BNIDirect is equipped with the BNI Trade Online services for customers to make Trade Finance transactions online. Through this feature, trade transaction requests can be submitted online, thereby annulling the need to visit the Branch Office and can be done anywhere and at any time quickly and easily.
