Investigation continues after motorcyclist, 65-year-old driver die in separate crashes Friday
BALTIMORE —
Two fatal crashes from last week remain under investigation in Baltimore County, police said.
County police said officers were called around 7:10 p.m. Friday to a motorcycle crash on West Timonium and Heritage roads in Mays Chapel.
Police said the motorcyclist lost control around a curve and struck a curb and was ejected over the sidewalk and into a telephone pole.
Phillip Groh, 22, died at the scene, police said.
Police said officers were called around 10:35 p.m. Friday to Butler Road near Hanover Pike in Reisterstown, where an SUV left the road and struck a pole.
The driver, Wanda El Gamel, 65, was taken to a hospital, where she died.
