DUBAI, Nov 5 (Reuters) – Iran stated that the US would “be hit exhausting” if Washington didn’t implement a ceasefire in Gaza, the nation’s Minister of Defence was quoted as saying by the semi-official Tasnim information company on Sunday.

“Our recommendation to the People is to right away cease the struggle in Gaza and implement a ceasefire, in any other case they are going to be hit exhausting,” Mohammad-Reza Ashtiani stated.

After a shock assault by Hamas in opposition to Israel on Oct. 7, the Israelis have sought to defeat the militant group.

Iran considers the U.S. to be “militarily-involved” within the battle.
