ISLAMABAD—Iran hit a jihadist group in Pakistan with a missile and drone strike Tuesday, based on Iranian state media, as a collection of conflicts proceed to unfold throughout the Center East within the wake of Israel’s battle in Gaza.
The goal of the bizarre assault inside Pakistan was a militant group, Jaish al-Adl, in Pakistan’s distant western province of Balochistan, which has an extended border with Iran. Islamabad condemned the assault, which it mentioned had killed two kids and injured three.
