Israel-Iran War Live: Israel says fresh wave of Iranian missiles launched; interception underway

Explosions were reported in the Iranian cities of Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as cited by Iranian state media.

The IRGC said the Israeli military used “air-launched ballistic missiles” in the attack, while state media outlet IRNA later reported that an attack on Najafabad in Isfahan Province caused no casualties. CNN journalist Fred Pleitgen reported from Tehran as Israel confirmed it had struck multiple targets inside Iran, marking the most significant escalation since the ceasefire began in early April.
