An investigation has been launched after 14 people were killed when a cable car dropped 20 metres into a mountain in northern Italy.
The remains of the cable car have been sealed off as technicians examine the wreckage.
The incident reportedly occurred when the cable snapped and the emergency brake failed at Mottarone Mountain near Lake Maggiore.
