Jabra has unveiled its latest wireless earbuds range with options for pros, exercise fans and those on a budget.
The Danish brand has also changed its naming convention to make its product line-up a bit easier to navigate. Which, given the increasingly competitive wireless earbuds market, is a smart move.
At the top of the pile are the new Elite 7 Pros, followed by the Elite 7 Actives and, finally, the Elite 3s.
Jabra has built up a reputation for its audio quality over the years and counts fans from both iOS and Android in its ranks. All the new earbuds work with both platforms, will stand up to the rainy British weather and feature a physical push-button for things like skipping tracks or summoning a virtual assistant.
The Elite 7 Pros are designed for all-day use, whether you’re taking calls, listening to music or taking the dog for a walk. Naturally, they offer the most features and the best possible call quality. And the top asking price of £199.99.
Jabra has equipped the Elite 7 Pros with what it calls ‘MultiSensor Voice’ technology which combines a bone conduction sensor inside your ear canal with four microphones on the buds to filter out things like wind noise and other interference.
As a result, Jabra is promising crystal clear call quality even when you’re in the car or somewhere outside. The Elite 7 Pros also boast Active Noise Cancellation to insulate you properly when listening to music. The company says you can expect 9 hours of battery life with ANC enabled that extends to 35 hours when you drain the charging case.
Meanwhile, the Elite 7 Actives are geared towards exercise and feature Jabra’s ‘ShakeGrip’ coating for maximum comfort. They also benefit from Active Noise Cancellation but don’t offer the same MultiSensor Voice tech as the Pros. As such, they come in a bit cheaper at £169.99.
As you’d expect, like the Pros, the 7 Actives are IP57 rated waterproof – meaning they’ll survive rain and even being dunked in a puddle.
Finally, the Jabra Elite 3s are the company’s attempt to hit a broader market. They come in at £80 and boast 6mm speakers and a 4-microphone array for taking calls. The Elite 3s offer seven hours of battery life (28 when you include the charging case) and a feature called HearThrough that lets you pick up the sound of the outside world with a tap.
The Elite 3s come in a choice of Dark Grey, Navy, Lilac and Light Beige.

The Elite 3s will be available from September 1, whilst the Elite 7 Pros and Elite 7 Actives will be available on October 1.
