TOKYO, April 7 : Japanese household spending in February fell 1.8 per cent from a year earlier, internal affairs ministry data showed on Tuesday, versus the median market forecast for a 0.7 per cent fall.
On a seasonally adjusted, month-on-month basis, spending increased 1.5 per cent, less than an estimated 2.6 per cent rise.
