TOKYO, Feb 16 : Japan’s economy eked out a slight expansion of an annualised 0.2 per cent in the October-December quarter, government data showed on Monday, short of the median market forecast for a 1.6 per cent rise.
The growth in gross domestic product (GDP) translated into a quarterly increase of 0.1 per cent, which compared with the median estimate for a 0.4 per cent rise.
