Today marks the centenary of the birth of legendary Telugu actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Hundreds of fans gathered at NT Ghat to pay tribute to the late actor and politician. His grandson, Jr NTR superstar also arrived to pay respect to him. However, the RRR actor was mugged at the NTR ghat in Hyderabad. On Sunday morning, Jr NTR was seen heading to the Late NTR centenary to offer prayers.
While his fans were happy to see Tarak on the ghat, they were upset with the behavior of the crowd at the venue. Several photos and videos of the actor have surfaced online. Dressed in white, Jr NTR is seen being harassed and struggling to walk as a sea of fans spotted him and rushed to take a look at the actor, giving him no room to match. Through this, Tarak kept his cool, hoping the crowd would calm down.
Shortly after the pictures surfaced online, Jr NTR fans called out the misbehaves and harassed the actor while offering their respects. “People have no common sense… What’s the use of that man coming, why does he care so much… Then they’re going to cut off their hands, brother… I am… That’s minimal common sense,” wrote one user. . “Kya Public Hai Yaar Samjhti hi nahi kuch Zara sa Bhi,” read another comment. A third comment read: “Poor guy, he can’t even bow properly.”
On the professional front, Jr NTR’s 30th film is titled ‘Devara’, which means God or God. The film reunites Jr NTR with his ‘Janatha Garage’ director Koratala Siva whose last film was ‘Acharya’ which starred megastar Chiranjeevi and ‘RRR’ star Ram Charan. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles. It will be released in theaters on April 5, 2024.
Jr NTR will also be seen in director Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming action thriller ‘War 2’, alongside actor hrithik roshan. The official release date of the film is still awaited.
