South Korean singer Ha Sung Woon has reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of military enlistment. Following the diagnosis, the singer may have to postpone his enlistment date, which is currently scheduled for September 5.

According to Soompi, on September 2, the artist’s agency Big Planet Made shared an official statement announcing the artist’s diagnosis writing, “Hello. This is Big Planet Made. We are announcing that our agency artist Ha Sung Woon received a positive result on a PCR test taken today.”

The statement continued, “Ha Sung Woon currently only has mild symptoms. He will halt all his planned activities and receive treatment in quarantine to follow guidelines from healthcare authorities. As a result, Ha Sung Woon will not participate in the ‘Someday Festival’ which was planned for September 3. We ask for fans’ understanding.”

The statement concluded, “We apologize for causing concern to fans and we will do our best so that our artist can recover his health quickly. Additionally, we will announce the situation regarding his military enlistment as soon as it gets organized. Thank you.”
