A section of the club’s supporters has been discussing holding a protest at Naturena as frustrations begin to boil over after Gavin Hunt’s men suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of Nedbank Cup finalists Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Tuesday.

When asked for his reaction to the planned protest being discussed on social media, Maphosa revealed that it was too early for the club to make an official statement on the matter.

Maphosa added that the DStv Premiership outfit would discuss the matter internally early next week.

“No reaction. We have a meeting about it next week‚ so I don’t have anything to share with you at the moment‚” said Maphosa, as quoted by Times Live.

“I don’t want to engage on it. I haven’t got a directive to engage on it until we meet on it next week. We will comment after that meeting.”

Maphosa added: “We are saying we are aware of it.”
