Kajol is making his OTT debut with ‘The Trial – Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha’ after ruling the big screen for a good decade. Kajol is back on Instagram after announcing that she is taking a break from social media. While fans were worried about what happened, it was all just a promotional ploy for his upcoming new Hindi web series ‘The Trial’. So is working on a web series any different than working on movies? When asked about the difficulties she might have faced migrating from the big screen to OTT, Kajol said, “It’s a pretty simple choice for me. I’ve always held that if I work, I’ll have fun, I’ll work with good people, and the script He will always be my hero, always.” Speaking about the work involved, Kajol said, “Whether it’s an OTT platform or a movie, for me, a role is a role, both formats require the same amount of work. Adapted from the CBS show, ‘The Good Wife,’ the web series follows Kajol as a lawyer and housewife, who is forced to return to work as a lawyer after her husband’s public scandal lands him behind bars. The series is directed by Suparn Varma of ‘The Family Man’ and ‘Rana Naidu’ and also has Sheeba Chaddha, Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Kubbra Sait and Gaurav Pandey in key roles. It airs from July 14.
