Lakhbir Singh Rode, 72, chief of the proscribed Khalistan Liberation Entrance and the Worldwide Sikh Youth Federation, has reportedly died in Pakistan. He was designated a terrorist in India.
A nephew of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, Rode was listed as an ‘particular person terrorist’ by the NIA underneath the UA(P)A and had fled to Pakistan over three many years in the past.
Lakhbir Singh Rode’s brother and former Akal Takht Jathedar, Jasbir Singh Rode, confirmed his dying.
