KP reports 193 new COVID-19 cases with five deaths in one day

During the past 24 hours in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Saturday five more patients lost their lives culminating the death toll to 2,109 in the province. 

As per the details of statistics issued by the health department, 193 more people tested positive for the COVID-19 during the same period, further raising the tally of such patients in the province to 73,708.

So far, 2335 active cases of the disease in the province have been detected while 69,264 COVID-19 patients have been recovered from the disease so far in the province.

Earlier on March 5, Pakistan had recorded 52 more coronavirus-related deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the overall death toll to 13,128.

 National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) identifies that COVID-19 had claimed 52 more lives and 1,579 fresh infections were registered.  

In the past 24 hours, as many as 1,527 fortunate patients had recovered from the virus in one day while 1,551 patients are still in critical condition. As per the sources shared by  National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) the national tally of the cases has ascended to 587,014.
