LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took the first step towards defending their NBA title by rallying past Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in the NBA play-in tournament.
With the win, the Lakers have clinched the seventh seed in the West and will now play the No. 2 seed Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs. The Warriors will now play in Friday’s winner-take-all game against the Memphis Grizzlies to determine the No. 8 seed.
