The National Weather Service (NWS) issued several severe thunderstorm warnings for parts of Maryland as a storm moved through the state on the evening of June 14. The NWS said the storm brought winds of up to 70 mph and ping-pong-ball-size hail, and that some areas were at risk of flash-flooding.
