OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Here are the headlines we’re bringing to you first on Monday, May 5.

Crews responded to a fire in an abandoned home in the North Omaha area early Monday. The Omaha Fire Department was called to the fire near 28th and Taylor streets just before 2 a.m. Monday. Officials say there are no injuries to report.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 24-year-old woman. OPD says the woman arrived to the hospital shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday after the shooting near 37th and Pinkney streets. Her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to a release.
