LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) is searching for a suspect accused of breaking and entering into a residence on May 8.
At around 10 a.m., Lynchburg law enforcement say they responded to the 3600 block of Old Forest Road on reports of breaking and entering.
The suspect allegedly entered the building by damaging a back door and fled the scene before police arrived. No one was harmed, police report.
Law enforcement say the incident currently appears isolated and there is no public threat. They describe the suspect as a middle-aged black male wearing glasses, a dark-colored graphic t-shirt and a baseball hat.
