Passengers travelling on CrossCountry trains have been warned of “significant disruption” across the network on Sunday due to a power cut impacting its control centre. As a result, train services across almost all CrossCountry routes have been withdrawn until further notice.
CrossCountry Trains wrote on X: “Services across the CrossCountry network will be significantly disrupted on Sunday 23 August due to a power cut affecting our control centre. Significant reductions to services and cancellations are expected across almost all routes.”
