Man arrested in antisemitic assault outdoors Georgetown synagogue

A person was arrested in an antisemitic assault outdoors a D.C. synagogue on Sunday.

Wooden, whose final recognized handle is in Toledo, Ohio, is charged with easy assault and resisting arrest.

Police are investigating the incident as a hate or bias-motivated crime.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned the incident, issuing a press release that reads partially, “There’s merely no excuse for these antisemitic acts. None of that is regular and nobody ought to suppose that is okay… It’s incumbent upon all of society to push again in opposition to antisemitism and different types of hate.”
