Massachusetts authorities are investigating the death of a Framingham resident who appears to be the victim of a homicide that happened at a shopping plaza.The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office announced Sunday that the apparent homicide happened Saturday night in the area of 1 Worcester Road, which is the address for Shoppers World.Framingham police said that at about 10 p.m. Saturday, they responded to one of the businesses at Shoppers World, where officers found a man dead in the trash area behind the building.Investigators said the victim, a 30-year-old man who currently lives in Framingham, was an employee at that business and was working Saturday night.The district attorney’s office said the victim had obvious trauma to his body and that the case has been referred to the state’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of his death.The man’s death is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to that office and Framingham police.Anyone who has information about the incident, or who may have seen something unusual at Shoppers World or in the area, is asked by authorities to call Framingham police at 508-532-5923.
