Medieval tower partially collapses in central Rome

The Torre dei Conti medieval tower in central #Rome was under renovation when it partially collapsed on November 3 just after 11:30 am local time. One worker is believed to be trapped alive under rubble, while three others were evacuated, with one taken to hospital in critical condition, a firefighter spokesman told AFP. The tower is in a busy area, just off the Imperial Forum and close to the #Colosseum, #Italy’s top tourist site.
