Morrisons has introduced a major update to its loyalty card app which includes a new shopping list tool. As part of the revamp, popular tools including the product and price finder have been relocated to the app’s homepage, making them easier for shoppers to access. The update from the supermarket giant introduces a new barcode-scanning feature, enabling customers to scan items directly from their kitchen cupboards and have them automatically added to their grocery list within the app.
It has also announced changes for loyalty card members, with shoppers set to receive six personalised offers each week tailored to their regular buying habits.
Customers using the More Card scheme will be able to take advantage of exclusive rewards on selected products, including percentage discounts or bonus points when purchasing eligible items during the promotional period.
Gareth Lloyd, value and loyalty marketing director at Morrisons, said: “We are always listening to our customers and looking for ways to make the Morrisons More Card app even better.
“We have built on what customers already love, making the app easier to use and navigate, while introducing smarter, hyper-personalised offers and convenient features to simplify everyday shopping. It’s all about ensuring our customers get maximum value and rewards tailored specifically to them.”
Shoppers who collect 5,000 More Points will be rewarded with a £5 Morrisons voucher, which can be used on a future purchase either in-store or online.
The More Card is available as both a physical card and a digital version within the app, allowing customers to earn points on selected products as well as purchases made at participating in-store counters and through online orders.
The Morrisons More Card app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play, where new users can quickly register and start accessing the supermarket’s loyalty scheme and its associated rewards.
Morrisons More Card is the supermarket’s customer loyalty programme, offering shoppers a free way to earn rewards on their everyday spending.
Members can collect points on qualifying purchases made in-store and take advantage of a range of exclusive offers and promotions available through the scheme.
