MTN8 semi-final live match report | Sundowns vs Arrows: Shalulile scores! – 28 September

Mamelodi Sundowns and Golden Arrows are in action in the MTN8 second leg semi-final at the Lucas Moripe Stadium tonight.

Sundowns open the scoring inside the opening five minutes as Peter Shalulile capitalizes from a spill by Sifiso Mlungwana.

Arrows don’t seem to be down after that early goal as they charge forward and test Reyaad Pieterse from outside the box.

Thabiso Kutumela comes close to doubling Sundowns’ lead after some good combination play with Themba Zwane in the 10th minute.

However, Mlungwana dives to his right to make a fine save and keep Arrows in the game.

As things stand, Sundowns are through to the MTN8 final with a 2-1 aggregate score over Arrows.
