Telugu actor Nani held his first Ask Me Anything shoot on social media. On Wednesday, he informed fans of him about the ‘Ask Nani’ shoot, writing on Twitter: “Never have, but it’s never too late. #Ask Nani chedhama? :)” During the shoot, the actor responded to trolls who have been comparing his upcoming movie Dasara to Allu Arjun’s pushpa. He also reacted to a netizen who suggested that his latest movies were commercial flops.
One fan wrote to Nani on Twitter: “How is Dasara different from pushpa and Rangasthalam? And some northern audiences are ignoring Dasara thinking that he is the same as kgf. Please, he breaks this myth ”. The actor had a witty reply when he said that Dasara can’t be compared to Pushpa just like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator can’t be compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He tweeted: “Terminator and ddlj are not the same thing because both srk and Arnold wear a leather jacket 😉 #AskNani.”
Nani’s last three releases Ante Sundaraniki, Shyam Singha Roy and Tuck Jagadish did not perform well at the box office. When a Twitter user mentioned the same thing and wrote, “Your movies are so good but your movies don’t make huge financial gains, any ideas?” Nani replied, “My producers say otherwise. About the financial benefits 🙂 He rarely shared them with me too ☺️”.

Set against the backdrop of a cola mining town, Dasara focuses on Nani’s character, Dharani, who seems to create a ruckus in the town whenever he gets drunk and forgets the nuisance he created once sober. Apart from Nani, the Srikanth director Odela also stars Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Shine Tom Chacko and Sai Kumar in key roles.
Check out the trailer for Nani’s Dasara:
Dasara will hit theaters on March 30.
