Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of Russian opposition chief Alexei Navalny who died in Russian jail on Friday, will meet EU overseas affairs ministers on Monday.
EU Excessive Consultant for Overseas Affairs Josep Borrell mentioned on X that Navalnaya might be on the EU Overseas Affairs Council.
“EU Ministers will ship a robust message of assist to freedom fighters in Russia and honour the reminiscence of Alexi @navalny,” posted Borrell.
Navalnaya has been lively since her husband’s dying, which many western leaders have claimed was orchestrated by Vladminir Putin’s regime – a cost Russia denies.
Talking on the Munich Safety Convention on Friday — the identical day her husband’s dying was introduced — Navalnaya mentioned: “I would like Putin, his buddies, and the federal government to know that they are going to be held accountable for what they’ve carried out to our nation, our household, and my husband.”
