In the midst of a dispute, Nawaz’s wife, Aaliya, shared a happy photo of herself with a friend, writing: “Don’t I have the right to be happy?” She also stated that their relationship is bigger and beyond just friendship.
On Instagram, Aaliya Siddiqui dropped a photo of herself posing with a cup of coffee in hand. Dressed in a black and red dress, she posed next to a man whose identity has yet to be revealed. She wrote in the caption: “It took me over 19 years to get out of the relationship I treasured. But in my life, my children are my priority, they always were and will be. However, there are few relationships that are bigger and beyond friendship, and this relationship is the same relationship and I am very happy for the same, therefore I share my happiness with all of you. Don’t I have the right to be happy?
Earlier, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in a social media post, reacted to his wife Aaliyah’s accusations, saying: “This is not an accusation, but expresses my emotions.” He said, “I am called bad everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have kept silent is because my young children will read all this tamasha somewhere.” Nawazuddin and Aaliya have two children, daughter Shora, 12, and son Yaani, 7. She accused the actor of abandoning his children. Nawazuddin had claimed that Aaliya had brought the children from Dubai to India without informing him and that this was affecting her education.
He added: “First of all, Aaliya and I haven’t stayed together for several years now, we’re already divorced, but we definitely got along just because of our kids (sic).” He also added: “Does anyone know why my children are in India and I did not attend school for 45 days, where the school sends me letters every day that it has been too long an absence. My children have been held hostage for the last few 45 days and they are missing school in Dubai.”
