NBC10 news and weather will now be on NBC10 at 2 p.m., starting Sept. 8. For those of you who watch our streaming channel, the format may be familiar to you. Headlines every half hour and weather updates every 10 minutes. Plus, live breaking news as it happens.
Our expansion doesn’t end there.
We will also premiere our new 7:30 p.m. newscast on NBC10, the NBC10 Philadelphia streaming channel and NBC10 app on Monday, Sept. 14.
The new additions will increase NBC10’s weekday local news programming to eight hours a day and extend our breaking news, weather and in-depth coverage across our television, streaming and digital platforms.
“Our goal is to make NBC10’s local news available whenever and wherever viewers need it,” said Elizabeth Flores, Vice President of News for NBC10 and Telemundo62. “The performance of our 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts speaks to the strength and dedication of our newsroom. With expanded programming and our 24/7 streaming operation, we are building on that momentum and offering audiences even more access to the reporting, weather coverage and community stories they depend on.”
You can watch NBC10’s 24/7 streaming channel, including the new 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. newscasts, here or in the video embedded on top of this article.
