The NIA has summoned prominent religious cleric and rector of the famous Darul Aloom Reheemiya Islamic seminary, Maulana Rehmatullah Qasmi, asking him to report to his camp office in Srinagar on Wednesday.
Maulana Qasmi has been cited in a case related to alleged “funding activities” of Al Huda Education Trust (AHET) in Rajouri.
In October last year, the central agency had raided the house of Maulana Qasmi in Bandipora, a week after he held a press conference against the government order to “force students to chant the Raghupati Raghav Raja prayer of all faith.” Ram” in schools.
