Actor and singer Nick Jonas is ready to make this Father’s Day extra special for his actress wife. Priyanka Chopra. With Father’s Day approaching on June 18, Jonas wants to celebrate Chopra for being an amazing mom to her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
Jonas, who was attending the premiere of his film The Good Half at the Tribeca Film Festival, said PEOPLE, “My dad did an amazing job of making sure everyone else felt loved on Father’s Day, and I’m going to try to adopt that from him. We as parents wouldn’t be where we are as parents without amazing women to make that dream come true.”
He added: “And I am so grateful to be sharing this journey with my wife, who is just an absolute boss and an amazing mom. It’s more about her that day than it is about me.” For Mother’s Day, Jonas had written a sweet message for Chopra. On Instagram, he wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day my love. You are an amazing mother. You light up my world and MM’s every day.”
During a recent interaction with the media, the Citadel star opened up about juggling her personal and professional life. She had said: “I work very hard, but when I need to create time for myself, my family or friends, for example, I do it. I understand my priorities and my team too, so when I need to do something that’s important to me, I’ll do it.”
The couple got married in 2018 and welcomed Malti through surrogacy on January 5, 2022. Jonas and Chopra had previously revealed that her daughter had spent more than 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit.
