The New Orleans Police Department said Sunday that a stolen luxury car has been recovered following an armed robbery on Friday. The driver stopped at around 11 p.m. to make a phone call when he was blocked by a black sedan. Several armed individuals got out of the sedan and demanded the man’s car. He complied and the suspects fled in both vehicles. According to the NOPD, those suspects remain at large. Anyone with information about armed vehicle theft is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111.

Investigators say a white 2015 Maserati with the Louisiana license plate DORIS-1 was stolen in the 6200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
Police say the driver stopped around 11 p.m. to make a phone call when a black sedan cut him off. Several armed individuals got out of the sedan and demanded the man’s car.
He complied and the suspects fled in both vehicles.
According to the NOPD, those suspects remain at large.
