Norma Mngoma & Zari fire shots after friendship turns sour [watch]

Norma Mngoma and Zari ‘The Boss Lady’ Hassan were once closer than sisters.

But that’s a thing of the past as the friendship between the businesswomen and social media stars has turned sour.

And to add insult to injury, they’ve now let the public into their bitter feud…

NORMA MNGOMA SPILLS THE TEA WITH LASIZWE

Norma Mngoma, the estranged wife of disgraced minister Malusi Gigaba, appeared on Lasizwe’s YouTube show Drink or Tell the Truth where she first confirmed that something was amiss with her bestie.

During the show – where guests have to down shots of a bizarre concoction or answer burning questions –  Norma claimed that she had essentially ghosted Zari after the latter gossiped about her.

“I stopped talking to her and she started texting me asking…and then I unfollowed her and deleted pictures [of her]. And I’ve never said anything about her, until today,” she said.

Norma claims the friendship ended after she learned that Zari supposedly said something about her behind her back.

She then claims Lasizwe warned her about the comments, which angered  the Ugandan-born star.

“I decided to ignore what Zari said and I took your side”, she said speaking to Lasizwe.

“I didn’t like what she said and I didn’t feel the need to ask her because I don’t want a friend who is only honest in my presence but in my absence too. I didn’t feel the need to explain myself so I just distanced myself”.

Zari has been romantically linked to Skeem Saam actor Cedric Fourie, who also happens to be an ex-friend of Lasizwe’s.

“Cedric and I were really good friends,” he said after adding that he no longer speaks to him. He also hinted that mutual friends got involved in their relationship.

ZARI CLAPS BACK: ‘I WILL EXPOSE YOU’

Meanwhile Zari has reportedly responded to Norma Mngoma’s interview with comments of her own – where she threatened to “expose” her former friend.

Taking to her Instagram account, the reality TV star posted a picture of Norma with the caption: “I’m living a drama free life because I no longer hang out with fake people like you”.

Zuri then accused Norma of “clout chasing”, before issuing her with a stern warning.

“You were here for the likes and followers. Every time I tagged you, you got excited when you got followers like a kid in a candy store. The real reason behind my break-up with you was more than what your gossiping for TV clout.

“I’m the last person you want to provoke. Norma I will expose you, I will strip you naked. Don’t come for me unless I call for you.”

Zari then too a final shot at Norma when she posted a picture of herself laughing, with the words: “It’s the fake laughs for me on such a low budget show”.

Whilst Norma has yet to respond to Zari’s comments, Lasizwe reposted a tweet which claimed that Zari was the real reason that his friendship with Cedric ended.
