New Balance announced the newest release in its Kawhi Leanard-branded line of sneakers, the ‘KAWHI 2 Ocean Blue.’ This sneaker brings bright, pastel, summer colors to the high-top sports sneaker. The upper of the shoe features a teal blue base with a white cut-in that features pastel orange lines. The laces and eyestay of the shoe utilize this same pastel orange color.
One notable aspect of the KAWHI 2 Ocean Blue is the tongue. The large, bright orange tongue on this shoe features ten unique emblems that are inspired by boating insignias. The shoe features an abundance of bright white and orange accents, which are both reminiscent of boats and boating equipment, such as life rings and buoys.
The New Balance KAWHI 2 Ocean Blue will be available as of May 13th, 2022, at New Balance’s online store at an MSRP of $160 USD. The shoe will also be available at various third-party retailers at varying price points.
