In a tragic incident, as many as three truckers were burned to death in a serious traffic accident near the Sadar police station on National Highway 49 in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha, in the early hours of Thursday, police said.

The drivers of the three trucks were unable to get out of their vehicles after the collision, after which they were charred to life, police said.
The three drivers are identified as Sipun Barah from Anovul district, Guddu Sah from Gandhichiwk, Brajrajanagar from Jharsuguda district and Bikram Yadav from Chatisgard state.
Upon being informed, firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames.
