The sequel to the cult classic ‘OMG! Oh My God’ starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and yami gautamin leading roles. After playing the character of Lord Krishna in the first part, Khiladi Star will be seen sporting the avatar of Shiva in the film.

While her fans are impressed with Akshay’s appearance, one section of the internet warned the bollywood actor. While the original movie explored the theme of faith and religion, the sequel will shed light on a social challenge.
It also stars Govind Namdev who played an agitated sadhu in the first part. Although that part also starred Paresh Rawal and Mithun Chakraborty, the sequel is based on a new story with new characters essayed by Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. Arun Govil, who played Rama in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan TV series, is also a part of OMG 2 and will be seen reprising the iconic role of Lord Rama.
The above teaser for the film will be attached to Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible: Reckoning Part 1, which will be released on July 12.
The film will take on Sunny Deol’s leading man ‘Gadar 2’ at the box office. Earlier, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, was even supposed to be released on the same date. However, the creators moved the release date to December due to pending VFX works.
‘OMG 2’ will hit theaters on August 11.
