Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Sunday’s 40-33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with an oblique injury.

Rodgers, who was also playing with a broken thumb, sustained the injury during the third quarter. The 39-year-old was examined on the sidelines before heading to the locker room.
Although the Packers said Rodgers was questionable, the two-time reigning MVP did not return for the final frame.
Rodgers threw for 140 yards and two touchdowns plus a pair of interceptions.
With Green Bay trailing 34-23, backup quarterback Jordan Love entered the game for the fourth quarter and connected with Christian Watson on a 63-yard touchdown reception during his first play.
