Pakistan, Egypt discuss security cooperation | The Express Tribune

ISLAMABAD:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and State Minister Talal Chaudhry on Saturday met a delegation from Egypt’s Interior Ministry, led by Major General Majdi Hilal, and discussed enhancing cooperation in counter-terrorism and narcotics control, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.

In a post on X, the ministry stated that Chaudhry, during the meeting, said that “there are vast opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of counter-terrorism, counter-narcotics, and internal security”. The Egyptian delegation noted that both countries could benefit from one another’s experiences in various sectors.
