Pakistan fee accepts ex-PM Sharif’s nomination for February ballot

Pakistan’s Election Fee on Thursday accepted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s nomination for the 2024 elections, weeks after a courtroom overturned two graft convictions, ARY Information reported.

However Mr. Sharif nonetheless wants the removing of a life ban on holding any public workplace to qualify to face, so it was not instantly clear how his nomination was accepted. A listening to on that ban might be held in January.
