Islamabad [Pakistan], November 24 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Asad Qaiser has been re-arrested in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ARY Information reported on Thursday.
As per particulars, police have arrested former Speaker of Nationwide Meeting Asad Qaiser in a vandalism case and took him to Charsadda police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beneath strict safety measures.
Hours earlier than being re-arrested, the anti-corruption courtroom in Abbottabad on Thursday granted bail to PTI chief Qaiser in a corruption case.
PTI condemned his arrest and expressed issues relating to the transparency of the elections, that are as a result of be held on February 8, 2024.
PTI spokesperson stated, “Asad Qaiser‘s arrest is a query mark on the function of the election fee in staging honest polls. The sequence of leaders’ arrests is a conspiracy to maintain PTI out of the election race.”
