The Border Security Force recovered 2.5 kg of heroin dropped by a drone on Monday outside the village of Setha Wala in Ferozepur district.

A BSF official said staff deployed at the border heard the drone of the drone entering Indian territory from Pakistan around midnight.
“They observed a flashing light and heard the sound of the drone. Deep groups also heard the sound of something falling in a field on the outskirts of Setha Wala village,” the official said.
A package wrapped in yellow tape was found containing three packages of heroin, with a total weight of 2.5 kg.
