Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves have fallen to $13,030.8 million, with the central bank holding reserves of $7,615.4 million, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
The central bank reported a $21 million decline in its own reserves for the week ending September 28, 2023, bringing the total to $7,615.4 million.
At the same time, the net foreign exchange reserves of commercial banks amounted to 5,415.4 million dollars.
Compared to the previous week, which ended September 22, 2023, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves were valued at $13.162 billion. Of this total, the central bank held $7,636 million in reserves, while commercial banks held $5,525 million in net foreign reserves.
