Palantir tasks income above estimates on demand for AI platform

(Reuters) -Knowledge analytics agency Palantir Applied sciences forecast fourth-quarter income above market estimates on Thursday, betting on robust demand for its new synthetic intelligence platform from shoppers together with U.S. authorities businesses.

The Colorado-based firm’s shares have been up almost 13% in premarket buying and selling.

Palantir expects income between $599 million and $603 million, the midpoint of which was above analysts’ estimates of $600.5 million, LSEG knowledge confirmed.

In a constructive signal of future demand for its new platform, the corporate stated it was seeing robust curiosity within the “AI bootcamps” it had launched in October to present shoppers entry for one to 5 days.

“By the tip of November, we’re on observe to conduct bootcamps with 140 organizations and half of these will happen in (that month),” Palantir Chief Income Officer Ryan Taylor stated.
