Parcel slam InPost locker

This is the moment a furious delivery driver was caught ELBOW-SLAMMING parcels ‘like a pro wrestler’.

Shannon Louise was attempting to post a parcel at the InPost locker in Hengoed, South Wales, on April 28th when she captured the ‘Wrestlemania-like’ scenes.

The video shows the hi-vis-wearing courier ‘angrily’ shoving parcels into the parcel bag using an elbow-slamming movement.

The shocked 29-year-old says the bloke looked like he was a ‘pro-wrestler’ using a ‘wrestling move’ to ensure the parcels fit.

Shannon says that after the recording ended, the courier proceeded to ‘drop a parcel on the floor’ before ‘booting it full force’ in the direction of the parcel bag.

The bank worker says she ‘couldn’t believe what she was seeing’ and has branded the behaviour ‘unacceptable and disgusting’.

Shannon drove to a different InPost locker to post her parcel and says the experience has put her off using the parcel lockers in future.

InPost have confirmed they are investigating.

Shannon, from Caerphilly, Wales, said: “Just before I started filming he [the courier] threw a parcel from where he was standing onto the bag but it fell off.

“I thought he was going to do more things so I got my phone out and filmed him. Luckily as I got my phone out, he started elbowing all the parcels.

“I actually stopped filming and just after I stopped filming, he dropped a box on the floor and booted it full force over to the parcel bag.

“He was using a wrestling move to put the parcels into the bag like a pro-wrestler.

“It looked like he was letting some of his anger out on the parcels, I was observing him for about 10 minutes and he had quite a bad attitude.”

Stunned, Shannon says his behaviour was ‘unacceptable’ and raised concerns about the damage it could cause to fragile packages.

Shannon said: “It’s unacceptable – people could have fragile things in their parcels.

“It’s quite disgusting, you don’t know what’s in those parcels. You can assume but you don’t know.”

Shannon says she drove to a different locker to post her package and the experience has put her off using InPost in future.

Shannon said: “I left and went to a different locker because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“It’s put me off using InPost as a whole, not even just a certain locker because I’m pretty sure they also empty the same locker I went to anyway.

“Seeing that happens makes me not want to use them at all.”

Since sharing the clip on TikTok the video has gone viral, racking up more than 47,000 views, likes, shares and comments.

Social media users in the comments said they ‘were not surprised’ by the footage.

One user commented: “Not the WrestleMania hashtag.”

Another wrote: “Not surprised by this at all!”

A third person commented: “Omg he’s having a bad day lol.”

Another wrote: “Packing it in a metal box next time, got it.”

A spokesperson for InPost said: “An investigation is underway.”
