After collecting more than Rs. 500 crores at the Indian box office and almost Rs. 1000 crore worldwide, Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-John Abraham leading man has now struck the gold in Bangladesh. Screenshots of sold-out shows have been shared on social media for a few days now. Yesterday, a clip showing spectators in a theater in Bangladesh dancing to the song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathan’ went viral. Interestingly, the film, which was released on January 25 this year in India and elsewhere, has been available on Amazon Prime Video since late March. Many in Bangladesh have already seen it on OTT, and yet they turned out in droves to see the first Bollywood film to be released in their country since 1971.

Today, bollywood hungama brings you the exclusive box office report for the 1st of lout in Bangladesh. On its launch day which is Friday 12th May, Pathaan has raised 25 lakhs of Bangladeshi taka. It is equivalent to INR 19.13 lakhs
India-based distributor and exhibitor Satadeep Saha, who has launched lout in Bangladesh, counted exclusively bollywood hungama“We launched lout in 41 cinemas in Bangladesh. The opening is excellent and one of the biggest of the year.”
When asked if day one numbers lout are higher than those of the Hollywood greats who launched this year as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and guardians of the galaxy vol. 3Satadeep Saha replied, “Yes, it is safe.”
Meanwhile, lout it is also doing exceptional business today. The collections will drop on Sunday which is a working day in Bangladesh. However, it is expected to have a good run in the neighboring country, just as it did in the rest of the world.
