Pedestrian struck, killed by driver doing donuts in Oakland

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver doing donuts in an Oakland intersection early Monday morning, police stated.

The collision occurred at about 12:45 a.m. on the intersection of Worldwide Boulevard and forty second Avenue, in keeping with police.

Police stated the motive force doing donuts “traveled off the roadway” and struck the pedestrian on a sidewalk.

The pedestrian was taken to a neighborhood hospital however didn’t survive. Their identification wasn’t instantly launched.

The driving force took off from the scene within the automobile, police stated.
