The front facade of a business in the heart of Boston’s Downtown Crossing collapsed onto the sidewalk below on Saturday afternoon, photos from the area showed.The incident happened around 2:15 p.m. in front of the vacant retail space at 425 Washington St. Photos from the scene showed the facade appeared to have broken away from the top of the retail space and fell onto the sidewalk below.Boston police said a person was struck by the debris and transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.The business was not occupied at the time.Boston Inspectional Services was notified and responded to the scene, police said.
